Questions
Questions and answers.
Is Fatbelly free?
Yes, to download and to try. The free version lets you set up one workout a day, with the sound and haptic cues. Premium unlocks unlimited workouts and more: $12.99 a year, or $19.99 once. Prices may vary by country.
What does Premium add?
Unlimited workouts, presets you can save and reuse, statistics, history and achievements, Apple Health, and 13 color themes.
Does my music keep playing?
Yes. The cues play over your music, which dips under them for a moment. You can switch the sound cues off in Settings.
Can I use it for Tabata, EMOM or boxing rounds?
Yes. Tabata is 8 sets of 20 seconds’ work and 10 seconds’ rest. For EMOM, set one-minute rounds with no rest. For boxing, set rounds of work with rest between them.
Does Fatbelly work with Apple Health?
Yes, with Premium: it can save your finished workouts to the Health app. It stays off until you turn it on.
Does Fatbelly count calories or track my weight?
No. Fatbelly is an interval timer: it times your work and rest. It isn’t a fitness programme or medical advice, so check with a doctor before you start a new kind of exercise.
Does Fatbelly collect any data?
No. No ads, no account, no analytics. Your workouts stay on your device, and go to Apple Health only if you turn that on. See the privacy policy.
