The coast opens ninth: a beach, a harbor, a lighthouse and an aquarium, with sea animals, boats and the things you take to the beach.
Kadoo opens its places in order of how early children usually learn their words, measured with the age-of-acquisition ratings of Kuperman, Stadthagen-Gonzalez and Brysbaert (2012), in which adults estimated the age at which they learned 30,000 English words.

Practice them at home
- At the beach or in the bath, name the sea animals and the toys as you play.
- Draw a sea together: your child asks for a crab, an octopus or a ship in English and you draw it.
- Sort the flashcards into things that swim and things that float.
Learn them in Kadoo
In Kadoo, an Explorer says each word, a puppy shows where the thing is and a little hand shows how to tap, drag or color, so children who can't read yet can play on their own. Words they find go into their Backpack and come back on later days, mixed with new ones. Coast opens with Kadoo Full Access or Family Plus. Kadoo on the App Store.
